Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 In this course, students will become familiar with the general context of laws on well-being in the workplace and, more particularly, the role and functions that specialist prevention advisers play. They are encouraged to develop a multidisciplinary and global approach to prevention.

Content
In this course, students will become familiar with the general context of laws on well-being in the workplace and, more particularly, the role and functions that specialist prevention advisers play. They are encouraged to develop a multidisciplinary and global approach to prevention. General introduction to the Advanced Joint Master Legislation on well-being in the workplace, organization of prevention in organizations, role and function of specialist prevention advisers.
Other information
Teaching methods The course comprises presentations on different topics with expert lecturers. There is a case study. Active participation is required from students. Assessment Examination in January as part of a joint assessment with the Introduction to the disciplines course. Case study : description of a company with an issue involving the management of risks and well-being. Students are required to clarify the precise functions of the prevention experts and suggest actions to be taken : oral or written defence (to be confirmed) before two examiners selected from the lecturers.
