Practical and procedural context of intellectual property contracts. - Impact of European law (free movement of goods: the exhaustion of right; restrictive trade practices law). - Negotiation and practical aspects shared by most contracts regarding intellectual property. - Main contracts regarding intellectual property :  research and development in the context of cooperation between companies or 'standard' sub-contracting arrangements, assignment of rights, licensing, contracts relating to copyright and related rights, information technology contracts  (in the broad sense). - Importance of the overall economics of the contract and the practical scope of some  clauses.  - International aspects of these contracts and impact of other legal disciplines.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :
