Content
Focus on the development of academic English. Discourse analysis. Exercises will also be used to improve the conversational and stylistic written competence.
Evaluation methods
Written EAP paper to be handed in at the end of the semester (40% of the final mark) + oral defense of the EAP paper during exam session (40% of the final mark).
Note that this course implies a strong focus on accuracy and that a high level of linguistic correctness is expected on order to get pass marks.
Continuous assessment: online compulsory EAP exercises and tasks to be done during the semester (20% of the final mark).
