Content
Research expertise in nutrition in UCLouvain is broad and covers most aspects of nutrition and health (Louvain4Nutrition consortium). The course is organized in order to allow the students to meet  (a viva or by email) key experts  , in situ or from abroad,  in this field. Interactive seminars are organized by N Delzenne and JP Thissen to analyze the published data and to guide the students for the use of existing tools (surveys, use of internet-available ressources…). The topic of therapeutic education is developed by S. Van den Broucke from the faculty of psychology in UCLouvain. All intervenents will present the different aspects of nutritional epidemiology by exploring case studies.
Evaluation methods
Written exam with questions related to all lectures. In addition, the students are presenting a critical view of a key question related to nutritional epidemiology (under the supervision of the coordinator). All those evaluations are integrated in the final note. When the attendance to key meeting is possible, the students make a short summary report that can also be taken into account in the final evaluation.
