Specific learning outcomes on completion of teaching unit On completing this unit the student is able to: · Demonstrate knowledge of the major periods of Turkish literary history, classical and contemporary, as well as of the major literary movements from the 19th century onwards; · Engage in sensitive criticism of a text, either seen during the course or previously unseen; · Present the key ideas of the philosophies of the authors studied in the language of study; · Produce a written or oral synthesis in the language of study of one or more works read outside class. |

The continuous assessment mark will not be taken into account.
