On completion of this course the student will be able to: - Deploy analytical methods and comprehension techniques and demonstrate the capacity to digest information in rapidly decoding the content of a text drafted in Language C and rendering it fluently in Language A; - Practise theory-informed transposition techniques to perfection - Detect underlying socio-cultural references in a text and render them appropriately in Language A; - Demonstrate flexibility and mental acuity in adapting without hesitation to novel communicative situations; |
