This/these question(s) will be announced at the beginning of the course.
A general issue which comes up repeatedly in (the practice of) architecture, raises questions in the history of art and architectural theories.
This may involve:
- limits, making use of the principles of distinction in architecture, thresholds and the inside-outside binomial etc.
- emptiness, making use of the principles such as formation, space and matter in architecture
- rhythm, making use of the principles such as composition, measurement and geometry in architecture
