Content
LANGL1841 is an online course, with coaching sessions and remedial classes (1h/week).
All students must practice their English during the academic year, even those who passed the placement test.
Moodle LANGL1841: This platform is used to propose online activities to all students. Those activities deal with topics connected with their studies. Thanks to online tests, students can also test their understanding of the grammar and vocabulary that they have to study.

Evaluation methods
1. Compulsory Placement Test: at the beginning of the academic year, all students must take this test. This test is the same level as the exam. On the basis of the results, students have access to the intensive or « normal » course/ coaching sessions.
2. End First-Term Test (20%): at the end of the first term, students MUST take a test assessing the vocabulary (videos/texts/Wallangues), grammar and listening skills covered in class.
3. The Final (Written) Exam: The final exam takes place in May (cfr Moodle).
