At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

-       Describe and explain the federal and/of regional dynamics applied to several cases

-       Compare the federal and regional dynamics in general terms and on more specific topics

-       Depend their understanding of challenges related to this comparison in an individual research

Cette unité d'enseignement porte sur les dynamiques fédérales et régionales qui se sont développées à travers le monde et étudie un certain nombre de cas concrets
Teaching methods
This course relies on readings prepared by the students before coming to class and on discussions in class. To undertake their written research paper, complementary readings will need to be done.
Evaluation methods
The students are assessed on the basis of oral presentations in class and of a written research paper.
Other information
This course demands active student participation in French and a reading command of English.
