Main themes
The lecture will offer alternatively three types of learning process : " the presentation, by the teacher, of the main dimensions of the selected theoretical framework; " Students' personal reading of selected texts, aiming to develop their ability to critical reading and theoretical discussion, at an advanced level; " The familiarisation to theoretical and sociopolitical debates surrounding this perspective (analysis of political debates in scientifical journals and in the press, …). Students will be invited to read a selection of texts representative of the approach, in order to analyse them from a theoretical and epistemological perspective : how can they be situated within the main paradigms of social sciences? They will also be invited to pay attention to the specific argumentation building process, to the specific way of writing, to the " theory-data " balance and articulation, etc.
