Main themes
This course provides an introduction to the language, culture and geography of contemporary Italy and encourages students to speak as well as to understand and analyse original documents.
This course prepares students for LROM1753, LROM1544 and LROM1541. The course can also help with possible ERASMUS exchanges in Italy. 
 
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • To develop students¿ lexical skills in Italian to promote reading comprehension and oral interaction. 
  • To understand aspects of contemporary Italian society.
  • To understand the geography of Italy.
