Main themes
The historical approach to international relations is an essential way of understanding contemporary socio-political phenomena.
Whether analysing international, universal or regional balances, or examining national foreign policies, taking into account their historical foundations is essential if we are to understand their constitutive dynamics and the processes that determine them.
Aims
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
| 1 | At the end of this seminar, the student will be able to deal with a question of the history of international relations from the point of view of heuristics, source criticism and data interpretation. He or she must be able to write a research report that delineates the initial question and summarizes the hypotheses put forward, the difficulties encountered and the results obtained. |
