Content
After having described the extension of the context of literature in the medieval period, the course studies the important chapters of the Latin literature of the middle ages, insisting on genres and their specificity (including encyclopaedias, bestiaries, lapidaries, sermons, scientific treatises), antique origins, influences on contemporary and posterior literatures. It is possible that the study of poets will allow links with the development of medieval music to be brought to light.
