AA-FS-TA. Develop expertise and a high level of competence in the field of adapting audio-visual material into French, from two foreign languages, with a view to participating successfully in the professional multilingual audio-visual sector.
Specific learning outcomes on completion of teaching unit On completing this unit the student is able to: · Detect underlying sociocultural components of a text and deploy strategies for their most appropriate transposition; · Analyse the intercultural components of a text in the light of theoretical models and concepts; · Analyse and deploy linguistic resources in French and one of the other languages studied in order to translate a text in a manner that respects cultural conventions; · Justify translation choices while maintaining critical distance. |
