Main themes
The course will present and confront major theories in contemporary social and political philosophy by means of studying a politically relevant practical issue. It will include some philosophical readings.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 At the end of this course, the student will be able To understand the specificity of the philosophical approach of political and social issues; To analyze and comment a basic text in social and political philosophy; To identify basic concepts and problems in social and political philosophy; To analyze and criticize the anthropological presuppositions and ethical principles underlying social and political practices.
