Content
The content will be updated every two years according to the ongoing research projects in linguistics in the team of lecturers.
Teaching methods
Mixed approach consisting of presentations by the lecturers and/or invited researchers and the preparation of a written assignment on a specific research topic in linguistics.
A first part of the seminar (approximately 10h) will be provided in English. It will consist of a presentation of the theme of the seminar and the different methodologies that can be used to study a specific linguistic phenomenon.
In the remaining hours, provided in the language of specialty (French, English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian), the students will develop a research project (with oral presentation and written research report), which will be accompanied by one or more teachers of the language and / or area of specialty. In the final hours of the class each student will present his/her hypothesis/research question, the data and the way they were collected, the adopted methodology, and, if possible, some preliminary results.

Oral presentation (30%) and written assignment (70%)
