At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | Upon completion of the course, the student shall have advanced in his or her understanding of some precise aspect of the phenomenological approach in a wide sense, or of hermeneutic philosophy. He or she shall have developed aptitude for reading, explicating, interpreting and critically commenting on texts in these schools of thought. He or she shall be able to identify the areas of divergence that separate various authors and schools of thought in relation to the texts studied in the course, and shall be able to give an account of what is at stake, philosophically, throughout the texts by sketching out the history of the development of these movements. |
