Content
This course studies the behavior of firms and their international activities such as exporting and importing as well as engaging in Foreign Direct investment and outsourcing abroad. We study the types of firms that engage in these activities and how they differ from firms without any international links. The footloose nature of some multinational firms allows them to shift production from one country to another. How this affects firm performance and workers is of our interest . We also study implications for policy.
