Main themes
The course themas are built on an interactive process, where the students are active. The first part of the teaching deals with the practical knowledge of regular softwares (Word process, Excell and Powerpoint) and the drawing of chemical structures (ChemDraw and Isis Draw). The second part is devoted to the use of search engines about scientific databases in biomedical as well as chemical sciences (Web of science, PubMed, Science Direct, Sci Finder). The search on the information about the patents will be also included.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 In the first part of the course, an introduction to the main softwares commonly used (text, graph, chemical structures) is given to the students. Then, in the second part, the course aims to developp the student skills in the search of scientific information related to drugs and medicines.
