Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

Specific learning outcomes:

By the end of the course, students will be able to

  • understand (theory and experiment) the component elements of a colour to be able to duplicate it.
  • understand the relationships between colours to be able, at a later stage,  to make use of them: theory and manipulation.
  • gain close familiarity with the real role of colours from a spatial point of view and the richness of expressions of the ¿painting¿ technique : analysis and experimentation.
  • understand how the association of colours, their proximity and their extent can give rise to a visual balance or not.
  • put forward a colour scheme for a given context, understand its spatial dimension.

  • Analyse, consider and invent architectural practices through drawings and models
