The socio-historic context within which each type of message emerged will be described. Analysis in large groups will examine developments in the various outputs and consequently the discernible changes within the text-image pairing. Analysis proposals will be tested in sub-group exercises.
Theoretical discussion and group or individual practical presentations, alternately.
Assessment is based on participation in the seminar and on the different assignments (in sub-groups: 20% of the final grade; individual: 80%).
Copies of the documents analysed (paper and PDF).
Des bibliographies sélectives, portant sur les différents objets étudiés, sont communiquées aux étudiants.
