AA-FS-TA. Develop expertise and a high level of competence in the field of adapting audio-visual material into French, from two foreign languages, with a view to participating successfully in the professional multilingual audio-visual sector.
Specific learning outcomes on completion of teaching unit
On completing this unit the student is able to:
· Analyse audiodescription aids;
· Prioritise the visual elements to audiodescribe in terms of the time available;
· Formulate a concise and detailed description.

The Audiodescription course is an initiation to the process of audio description in the media, in live events, and visuals arts / exhibitions. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the core skills and explore the different fields in which this narrative technique is applied. The methodology will be acquired through a series of examples and practical exercises which will receive group and/or individual correction.
