Main themes
To meet these objectives, the course covers the following : - introduction to the different literary genres of the biblical Prayer from Psalms, examining the Psalter as a book; - general introduction to the Wisdom Books, studying its main themes; - reading certain texts of the Psalter and the Wisdom Books.
Aims
By the end of this course, the student should be able to undertake a critical reading of the Psalms and the sapiential texts of the Old Testament based on general knowledge of this literature.
