Aims
Having regard to the LO of the programme X, this activity contributes to the development and acquisition of the following LO:

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
  • - At the end of this course, the student is able to understand the theoretical fundamentals and specificities of international entrepreneurship. - At the end of this course, the student is able to develop an international new venture project. - At the end of this course, the student has acquired intercultural and entrepreneurship skills. - At the end of this course, the student is able to act as a socially responsible actor, to be proactive and to contribute to the organization of company visits activities.- At the end of this course, the student is able to manage a group project with American students.- At the end of this course, the student is able to present his/her international entrepreneurship project to a panel of US experts.- At the end of this course, the student is able to exert a critical mind based on a literature review and field information and to communicate it in a report written in English.

Content
After having familiarized themselves with the theory of international entrepreneurship, students will, if possible, work in binational teams on an international new venture project., or on an international venture creation business game. The course will contain theoretical parts, but will mainly be organized around real-life or computer-simulated entrepreneurial processes. All students will have to form an international team (2 UCL students - 2 students from another university) and will be required to complete and present their own new international venture creation project in cooperation with foreign students. The pedagogy will be interactive and will, if possible, include common classes (videoconferencing, travels abroad if financially possible, company visits,'). The last three sessions will be devoted to the presentation and a discussion of the students group works or projects.
