The course offers an overview of the history? sociology and politics of the Arab World. It gives the students some keys to understand the current issues, conflicts and challenges. The inter-arab and Arab international relations are a central issues which is also addressed

Usually this introductory course is offered to students who are not acquainted with the Arab World.
