On the other hand, it analyzes rules prevailing in each area of private law
Aims
The course of private international law aims at giving students the basic tools for solving problems that can occur in international transactions between individuals in the field of private law (it covers family law as well as commercial transactions). As far as the legal sources are concerned, priority is given to the core rules of Belgian private international law. They are however presented in a comparative law perspective.
