Main themes Seminars and site visits in different industrial sectors
Aims To introduce the student to the scientific methods of analysing health risks at the workplace
Content First, seminars based on analyses conducted by an experienced professional lecturer in varying industrial sectors are given as examples to introduce the methodology. Then, site visits are organised in group. These visits are commented by the occupational physician in charge of the plant or company, possibly also by the internal prevention advisor and/or the direction of the company. The student then writes a synthesis of the data collected during each visit. These reports are discussed and criticized during a last seminar.
Other information Instructions on the seminars, site visits and for drafting the reports are posted on icampus. Evaluation is based on the written reports presented by the student. Pré-requis : master in medicine
