Aims

Given the learning outcomes of the "Master in Computer Science and Engineering" program, this course contributes to the development, acquisition and evaluation of the following learning outcomes:

Students completing this course successfully will be able to

  • investigate in an automonious way current issues in the field of computer networks or security based on the scientific literature
  • synthesize a scientific or technical article, to make it clear to colleagues, and to discuss it with maturity.
Evaluation methods

The participation of students in the preparation of the annotated bibliography is worth 8 points out of 20

Presentation of a scientific paper, be worth 12 points out of 20

The participation in the preparation of the annotated bibliography can be done only once.

Teaching methods

The course is organised as a seminar where student meet regularly to present and discuss recent scientific papers.
