Thorough knowledge of Classical Greek (equivalent to Bachelor level).

Main themes |
In-depth study of specific questions of Greek synchronic or diachronic linguistics.
The lecturer will deal with one or several themes relating to the synchronic functioning, and the history of the Greek language, with regard to current linguistic research: questions of syntax and semantic roles, aspects of lexicology, nominal composition, phonological questions and study of dialects.

At the end of this course, the student will be familiar with the methods and results of current research on the subjects dealt with.

Oral exam.

Lectures combined with presentations by the students.

Content |
The course deals with one or more specific questions concerning Greek synchronic or diachronic linguistics. The course content varies from year to year in function of the questions dealt with.
