Main themes Training : the content of the course may vary from year to year, reflecting students' needs. It is organized along four main axes : - group work (regulation and analysis of working, decision taking, negotiation etc.) - methods of intellectual work (document research, writing and summarizing academic texts, oral expression etc) - adult training methods (mental exercise, research-action, project management, creativity etc.) - methods for adopting distance (stress and time management etc.) Integration : this workshop will be devoted to discussions and exchanges on questions involving the way in which students perceive their training and the impact of training on their projects. In the preparatory year, emphasis is mainly on ways of gaining access to training as well as social representation and the issues linked to this. The approach is mainly inductive and collective. Management : the content of the course may vary from year to year, reflecting students' needs, but will always be linked, first, to the educational and organizational management of the group (relating to classes, preparation of leaving contracts, mid- and final-term evaluations and, within the group, division of responsibilities, election of representatives, preparation for committee meetings etc.) and, second, to the different institutional meetings and committees.
Aims - training : to develop, according to the needs of students, methodological skills required for training - integration : to enable students to analyze their training process(es), with the aim of giving meaning to their project - management : to involve students in the logistical and pedagogical management of their training.
Content The content of this workshop varies from year to year. There are three main parts : first, methodological ; second, on the meaning of training ; and third, on organizational management of the group and the Institute.
