The course concerns metabolic degenerative and inflammatory conditions, e.g. bone densitometry, glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis, osteoporosis therapy, nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis.

To yield further knowledge and updated diagnostic and therapeutic tools regarding the rheumatic diseases.

Prerequisite: course linked to obligatory course of rheumatology.
Evaluation of the candidates: presentation of a short bibliographic work of a subject concerning the locomotor system, based on English literature (15 minutes of presentation, 5 minutes of questions).
