Main themes - oral or dento-alveolar surgery - diagnosis and treatment of dental infections
Aims The student must be able : - to describe step by step the most frequent dentoalveolar surgery (dental extractions, cystectomies, frenectomies, apicectomies, etc), to know their potential complications to be able to prevent and/or treat them; - to understand and explain all physiopathological processes responsible for oral and maxillofacial infections - to diagnose and treat all oral and maxillofacial infections
Content - systematic description of most frequent dental and oral infections - step by step description of oral surgery techniques, indications and contra-indications
Other information Evaluation : written exam at the end of the first semester by OSRQ Support : - Slides with clinical illustrations - Ppt. (for the slides) and Word (for the notes) on iCampus Pré-requis : microbiology, human anatomy and pathology for bachelors
