2nd part:Can economic activity function effectively without government intervention?

The three objectives of State economic policy: resource allocation, social distribution and macroeconomic stabilisation.

Aims

On completion of this course, students will be able:

  • to understand the functioning of the competitive market and its role in the efficient allocation of goods and services.  
  • to analyse cases where the public sector may intervene in the economy.
  • to understand the objectives of State economic policy.
