Main themes |
After a general survey of the subject, the course will introduce the concept of the labour market, and some theo-ries relating to it. It will then undertake an in-depth examination of macro-economic questions relating to job supply, demand, and the meeting of supply and demand. The course will use a variety of approaches to tackle questions such as unemployment, salaries and inequality.

Aims |
The course aims to provide an introduction to labour economics. The course aims at forming with the comprehension of the mechanisms of the labour market, with the interpretation of the raw data, the exploitation of the analyses of the economists for the devel-opment of policies of human resources at the micro and macroeconomic level
