Main themes To reach the aims, the course: - will focus on a specific issue in familial ethics - will explore human, social and political issues - will present an ethical appraisal in a philosophical and theological point of view.
Aims By the end of the course, the student will be able: - to clarify fundamental categories of ethical reflection about questions asked by marriage and family today - to relate contributions of Christian traditions to current debates about these topics.

Expecting a child with a disability is a risk situation encountered by couples and families today. Immersed in a socio-cultural universe not very open to difference, likely mediated by technoscientific medicine, what area of ''freedom is open for couples? What does "want" or "do not want" a disabled child in its social, medical and believers? The return journey to the concepts of drama, uncertainty and target heart good which is always a matter of deciding for life.
