Main themes The seminar comprises the study of clinical cases and the analysis of scientific knowledge in clinical sexology as well as current developments in this field.
Aims - By the end of this seminar, students will have a broad idea both of clinical intervention in sexology and scientific research in clinical sexology. - Students will be able to ask appropriate questions in the field of clinical psychology and to critically assess interventions in clinical sexology and research in this area. - By the end of the seminar, students will be better prepared to produce their dissertation.
Content The team of doctors and psychologists, all of them trained and experienced clinical sexologists who teach this seminar, gives this seminar a strong multidisciplinary perspective. This seminar requires active participation from students who have to undertake bibliographical or clinical research in the field of sexology.
Other information Assessment : the methods of assessment will be explained by the lecturer(s) in charge at the beginning of the course. Prerequisites: SEX 2252 and SEX 2254
