Main themes As far as psychomotricity is concerned: - The steps of psychomotor development, ordinary and pathological, depending on motor neuron maturation; - The various currents of psychomotricity; - The psychomotor development in a global and psychological approach of the individual, ordinary and atypical; through its relations with other sectors of development, cognitive, social, communicative, emotional; - Psychomotricity as an observation mode of individual and groups, as a therapeutic relation or psycho-educative intervention mode, and as an adaptation to the material environment mode; - The link between psychomotricity and psychological wellbeing and mental health; As far as the psychological intervention towards the disorders of psychological and physical health of the child and the young is concerned: - Presentation of a series of health (mental and physical) disorders of the child and the young and demonstration of intervention and analysis models based on case studies.
Aims At the end of this course, the student: -will know, understand and have a critical mind on the various theories about the psychomotor development as well as its fields of application; - will know the theoretical fundamentals and the models of intervention analysis of the various psychological disorders of the child and adolescent; - will have acquired the competences to realize an analysis of the need, establish a diagnostic, an intervention indication and an intervention plan; - will have acquired the needed competences to apply the basic psychological interventions and evaluate the process and the impacts of these interventions; - will be able to fulfill a psychological practice in accordance with the available scientific knowledge, the respect of professional deontology and the legal standards attached.
Content Modules: psychomotor currents: the steps of the psychomotor development, psychomotor development in the bosom of psychological (ordinary and pathological) development, psychomotrictiy and mental and physical health, psychomotricity and environment. - presentation of a series of health (mental and physical) disorders of the child and the young, chosen according to their importance, students interests and clinical experience acquired during the training ( pervasive developmental disorder, behavioral problems, somatoform disorders, etc.); - Acquisition of intervention and analysis models based on case studies. - Demonstration of cases in order to study and practice the various steps of the psychological intervention from the first interviews through the analysis of needs, holism, function and signification analysis, to the therapeutic contract and the execution of interventions. The evaluation of the process and the consequences of the intervention as well as the respect of the ethical norms will be applied all along the process.
Other information Pre-required: this course is only accessible to students who have carried out the practice in Master 1. As far as psychomotricity is concerned: - presentations - practitioner presentation - videos' observation and analysis - extramural observation - student's individual work on a problem seen in the modules As far as the psychological intervention towards the disorders of psychological and physical health of the child and the young is concerned: - Bibliographical research about the disorders above mentioned; - Demonstrations of the analysis and intervention techniques by the teacher and the students, role-plays and practical exercises on interview techniques and intervention methods
