Main themes This course teaches the various forms of written scientific communications, the editorial style of the APA and the process of publication. It provides to the students all formal knowledge necessary to be able to publish an international publication.
Aims At the end of the course, the student will have: to control the APA style; to have carried out a posted communication (poster); to have written a scientific article based on data collected or used; to have carried out a review of article (on the basis of manuscript of another student); to have developed a critical, constructive and stoical attitude towards the universe of scientific publication.
Content The course includes three parts. The first consists of a lecture teaching. This teaching is illustrated by various case studies: adventures of publication sometimes successful, sometimes unsuccessful, of the teacher. The second part will consist of exercises: the students will present and exchange their own manuscript (a poster and an article) with other students, and to write a review on a manuscript. This part is supervised by the teacher.
Other information Pre-required courses: None Evaluation: The student will be evaluated on the basis of his/her three written work: poster, article and review. The final note will be the average of these three evaluations.
