Main themes

The training course can be carried out in "research" or "professional" sector. The student builds a personal project. It will be validated by the director of training course. Generally, it's recommended to work in a laboratory, a museum, archaeological deposits or sites of excavations and to take part of one conference or a scientific excursion. The training course is determined by the student in agreement with the promoter of memory. Three methods are possible : - three weeks in an institution recognized by the promoter or on sites of excavations - two weeks in an institution recognized by the promoter or on sites of excavations and other activity to choose with the promoter (assistance to conference, visit of exhibitions). These activities will be the subject of a report - choice of a set of scientific and/or professional activities established in agreement with the promoter. These activities will lead to a written work.

Aims

At the end of the training course, the student is able : - to be integrated in an professional environment by showing qualities of adaptation, spirit of initiative and sense of the organization, - to take an active part in the activities of a particular professional field as a historian of art, an archaeologist or a musicologist.

Evaluation methods

Combine institution and promoter's opinions. The student will write a report of 10 pages after the training course. The report will be structured so that: training course's reasons, aims, description of the activities, personal opinion on the experiment, appendices possible.

Teaching methods

Practice formation in professional insertion dealt with on the site by master of training course approved by the university. The activity proceeds under the promoter of memory.

Content

The training course offers a possibility : - to sensitize and to observe attentively the professional activities; - to confront the theoretical trainings to a concrete professional practice. It's possible to develop a critical reflection
