He will be able to imagine, plan and give courses in Latin in the lower and upper secondary, and to adapt to different professional situations in various school environments with positive interaction with his supervisor.
|
Evaluation methods |
The supervisor will evaluate each stage of the training according to reporting method common to all students (including the criteria and the indicators) realised in collaboration with the supervisors, the teaching advisers and the training manager.
|
Teaching methods |
The student will select his supervisors (at least two, in two different schools) from a list of supervisors approved by U.C.L. He will agree with them the procedures of the observation period and the active lessons.
The student may structure his teacher-training according to his personal interests, whilst ensuring a balance as between the three levels of secondary education.
At the end of each period of training, the student will prepare an activity report which leads him to consider his methods.: these reports will form half of the evaluation for the course LGLOR 2550.

Content |
The teacher-training of 25 hours is aimed at students in Ancient and modern languages and literatures (Latin-French) and is divided into three parts:
1. Periods of observation and analysis of teaching methods (5 hours), which will encourage the student to undertake his responsibility for a class, through meeting his future class and supervisor;
2. Trainings of teaching practice (20 hours), which will enable the future teacher to experiment with the different points dealt with in the theoretical course under the guidance of a supervisor approved by U.C.L.;
3. Teaching lessons in public.
