By the end of the cursus, each student knows in detail the prophylactic and curative, biological, chemical and physical control methods against pests and diseases. He/she should be able to :
- understand the biological mechanisms involved in the biological control;
- implement and explain the legislation on the use of plant protection products;
- understand and prevent the risk from plant protection products;
- develop integrated protection systems against pests and diseases;
- advise producers.
