Aims

Understanding of the antibiotic policy in hospitals and the role of pharmacists in this context.

Knowledge of strategies allowing to optimize antibiotic use in hospital (efficacy, safety, control of resistance) and of the way to apply them in practice

Evaluation methods

Written examination + oral examination (discussion around clinical cases)

Content

Seminars around each of these topics, with reference to pertinent information sources and practical examples
