The emphasis is on the methodological aspects of modelling and simulation. The course is illustrated by concrete examples. Students will be expected to carry out a practical exercise using the techniques covered in the course.

 

Aims

 

On completion of this course, students will be able to understand the basic principles governing internal flow modelling (products and services within the company) and external flow modelling (transport of people and goods), both at a tactical and strategic level.
