Students completing successfully this course will be able to

Know the main components of an information system (eg. ERP and tools), describe how they operate and how they interacte to lead to a efficient information system

Analyze the behavior of an information system, arguing about its strengths and weaknesses and make suggestions for improvement

Carry out a project for adapting an information system to specific needs of a company starting from a existing information system, therefore, get an overview of the tools and technologies available

Concretely develop an information system
Students will have developed skills and operational methodology. In particular, they have developed their ability to:

Clarify the role of organizational information systems in businesses using examples. More specifically, argue about the role of information systems as a tool to support business strategy
