Main themes |
The course is divided into three parts: (1) internal medicine, (2) pathologies related to ageing and (3) psychiatric pathologies. Most of these pathologies cannot be cured by physiotherapy only. However, these pathologies require physiotherapy in the frame of in a multi-disciplinary process. This aspect will be also studied.

Aims |
The aim of this course is to study the physiopathological process of the main pathologies treated by physiotherapy. The present course wil also focus on pathologies related to ageing and psychiatry. The pharmacological mechanism of the medecines involved in physiotherapy will also be studied.

Content |
Most of the pathologies for which a treatment in physiotherapy exists will be studied within the framework of the courses of " pathology and physiotherapy of the musculo-scrawny, cardio-respiratory and neurological systems ". The present course aims is giving notions more specialized than the course KINE 1027 " Introduction in the pathology " (high school diploma) in the field of the internal medicine, psychiatry and the pathology of the ageing.
