Aims |
To allow a better understanding of two major challenges for the European Union, namely, on one side, ensuring energy security without jeopardising the sustainable development objectives, and, on the other side, formulate an appropriate response to the economic and financial crisis at the European level.

Content |
After an inaugural lesson (two hours), which will establish the link between the challenges to the EU in the areas of energy security, sustainable development financial stability and good governance, 4 sessions of 2 hours will be devoted to energy issues and 4 other sessions of 2 hours to the economic and financial crisis. The professor will explain the main ideas of the course through power point presentations , which will provide the basis for discussions with the students and open paths for more further research.
