Main themes
1. Basic concepts : different kinds of signals, transmission lines, propagation, antennas, modulation techniques.
2. Telephon, radio and television systems.
3. Data transmission : OSI architecture : level 1 : transmission supports, baseband, modems, multiplexers - level 2 : error detecting and correcting codes, protocols - level 3 : routing.
4. Systems and services : voice, text and image transmission, data communications, public networks (datel, DCS, ISDN, ATM, ADSL, Internet), private networks (LAN).
