Main themes The course is devised in two parts. 1) Social law and welfare preventie medicine and work incapacity. 2) Multidisciplinary approach concerning beginning and ad of life. - Protection of body integrity - Regulations of human expenmentation in innovatie medicined.
Aims Identify the legal tools and the ethical principles and methodologies necessary to solve or identify problems in public health ethics. - Integrate the legal and ethical approach to specific public health issues such as epidemics, psychiatric organisation, procreation… - Apply a personal reflexion from a critical and argumented point of view - Cross pluralistic points of view - Enter in the complexity of ethical and legal issues raised by the development of biomedical sciences. - Question the social impact of techno-scientific development on public health regulations.
Content The specific content of the course has to be decided around a specific topic each year. It has to articulate clinical ethics of the individual to global ethics in public health relating to prevention in communities.
