Main themes These objectives will be achieved after a introduction to the critical and detailled study of a historical question about chritianity in modern or contemporary era. The professor will hand out a select bibliography and initiate to a working method. Individually or in group students will be taught to pratice a rigorous method. They will use specialised tools for history of christianity.
Aims Research Seminar in history of christianity (modern and/or contemporary era) At the end of this activity, the student will be able to -use the main tools in the field; - read critically the historical sources; - understand and appraise critically articles and monographs on these sources; - produce a clear and scientific presentation of his work.
Evaluation methods

At the term of a session of the seminar which he will specially have prepared, the student will write a personal work on base of his contribution, from the debate which this one will have provoked and methodological remarks which will have been formulated.
