Fundamental and Practical Ecclesiology : unit B - pastoral theology [ LTHEO1292B ]

To achieve the objectives determined above, the course will deal with the following themes :
meanings of the word "pastoral" in the biblical revelation; source, genesis and development of the pastoral / practical theology; current methods in pastoral /practical theology; application to topical questions

At the end of this course, the student will be able
- to identify the nature, the goals and the actors of a pastoral practise; to use the instruments necessary to describe, to analyse and to evaluate the pastoral practices
- to hold together ecclesiology, pastoral theology and canon law.
